FERPI has its environmental management system certified according to the UNE-EN ISO 14001 Standard since 2003.
For this, FERPI has its own Environmental Policy through the development of the Environmental Management System that identifies and evaluates the environmental impacts for minimization during the development of the work within the planned objectives.
Our environmental commitment is reflected in:
Portable hermetic installations for the management of hazardous waste.
Minimization of travel distances of charges.
Optimization of the set-ups and periodic maintenance of our equipment.
Investment in a modern machinery park.
“Earthworks and drilling (clearing and excavations, earthworks, quarries, wells, galleries and tunnels).
Hydraulic (supply and sanitation, canals, ditches and drains, defense of margins and channeling, hydraulic works without specific qualification).
Roads and tracks, road works without specific qualification) ”.
For this, environmental impacts have been identified and evaluated in consumption, generation of waste, discharges, emissions, etc., in the areas of the office, repair shop and maintenance of machinery and vehicles, as well as in open works.
Derived from said identification and evaluation, FERPI has established environmental objectives in 2020 to try to reduce or eliminate the impacts of said significant environmental aspects related to:
Maintain explosive consumption (0.40 kg explosive per m3 of rock).
10% reduction in tire consumption per m3 of land moved.
FERPI has seen the need to go beyond the environmental management of the Organization. For this reason and in the context of the climate change strategy, the main objective has been to promote the systems, policies and greenhouse gas reduction projects to be implemented by us, in addition to transparently informing our customers of the emissions of the Organization.
